The Highfield Level 3 Award in Legionella Control for Responsible Persons (RQF) has been developed to support those in the role or aspiring to be in the role of Responsible Person relating specifically to control of legionella on a site.
Course Overview
The qualification will give learners the knowledge and understanding of the effects of legionella on the body and the impact and outbreak could have on a working site, as well as how to identify and control the risks associated with legionella bacteria and how legislation and codes of practice can support its control.

- How legislation and codes of practice can support the management of legionella bacteria
- How to control the risks associated with legionella bacteria
This qualification can be achieved in just 1 day.
Assessment Methods
This qualification is assessed by a learner workbook. This assessment model requires learners to provide a short response to prescribed questions within a workbook.
